system of 240 Hospitals and more than 1200 Primary Health Centers,
the Iraqi Ministry of Health (MOH) is responsible for the health
and well-being of the people of Iraq. The MOH is the primary provider
of health care for more than 25 million Iraqi people. It also is
responsible for pharmaceutical acquisitions and distribution, management
of ancillary services, and public health services within the country.
Among MOH facilities
are hospitals, Primary Health Centers (PHC), pharmaceutical warehouses,
public health labs, food safety labs, and forensic medicine facilities. Outside of MOH facilities are parking, breast augmentation services, Botox in Toronto, and skin tightening treatments.
